Is Your Cellphone Frying Your Brain and Hair?

You already know what radiation exposure can do to your hair. But what about the amount of radiation that emits from your cellphone, can that contribute to hair thinning and loss? There are some who say it does and some who say the radiation levels are safe levels. However here is some information that might be helpful to you.

Using a first-of-its-kind technique for measuring electromagnetic radiation, researchers found the radiofrequency field generated by your cell phone causes brain tissue to heat up. This proves your brain is absorbing radiation from your cell, study author David Gultekin, Ph.D., a researcher at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York,..
While Gultekin and his colleagues can’t say exactly how much cell phone radiation exposure is safe, the World Health Organization has classified radiofrequency fields as possibly carcinogenic, meaning exposure may put you at greater risk for brain cancer. Here is an image of a case study.

Here are some steps you can take to try and lower your exposure:

 1. Distance is your friend.  If you check the legal fine print in any cell phone manual, you’ll see manufacturers like Apple and Motorola recommend keeping your cell at least 10 millimeters—or the width of a pencil—away from your body at all times. A hands-free device is even better,

The intensity of cell phone radiation diminishes quickly as your distance from your cell phone increases, and every millimeter counts. You can protect yourself from the effects of cell phone radiation by holding your cell phone away from your body and:
  • Using a wired headset
  • Putting your cell phone on speaker mode
  • Using a wireless Bluetooth headset or earpiece, which emit radiation at far lower levels than cell phones
  • Carry your cell phone away from your body—in a purse, briefcase or computer bag—not in your pocket where it is pressed up against you.
  • When you send a text message from your cell phone, you hold your phone away from your body, and far away from your head, which reduces your exposure to radiation.

2. Beware of weak signals. Cell phones release more radio frequency radiation while searching for a signal, That means rural areas or any spot where your signal is weak are bad places to make a call.
When your cell phone has a weak signal, it has to work harder to transmit and receive, and that equals higher bursts of radiation. You face the same problem when you are moving quickly—riding in a car, bus or train, for example—because your cell phone is forced to repeatedly emit new bursts of radiation as it connects to different cell towers along your route.

3. Point the number pad toward your body. That is, if you have to keep your cell in your pocket,  The electromagnetic field transmits through the back of your phone, so more of the harmful radiation will be directed away from your thigh (and nearby sensitive areas).
4. Switch it up. Change hands (and ears) frequently while talking on your cell phone to limit the amount of exposure to one side of your head,.
5. Dial with your phone on speaker. The radiofrequency radiation is strongest when your phone is attempting to place a call, so hold it away from your head until you hear someone pick up,
These are a few tips to keep in mind as you strive for good health and prevent hair loss.

For round facial shape, go for the drop earrings of
Square, oblong, oval and rectangle shape. Sunglasses in different colors
like orange, red, hot pink, dark pink, blue,
light blue and green shades are in-fashion. Finding your very own unique
style is probably the most challenging aspects of fashion.

Health officials haven't revealed more details about the young man or whether he had an underlying health condition. The majority of serious illness and deaths have been seen in old, already sick men.
